Your social media checklist should include these ten items

Today, October 30th is Checklist Day, and to mark the day I’ve put together a list of ten essential social media tasks to tick off your to-do list this week.

1. Perfect Your Social Profiles

Review each of your existing social media profiles with the following tasks in mind.

• Unpin outdated information you may have pinned to the top of your profiles.
• Update cover photos with high resolution images.
• Include a URL that leads back to your website or a add a relevant call to action.
• Add keywords to your bios.

Insider Tip: Complete all sections of your social media profiles and schedule a review date every month or two to check that your information is still current.

2. Check for Consistency Across All Platforms

• Are you consistent in how you use your brand images across all platforms?
• Do background colors, logos, and other images follow your branding?
• Are all descriptions and URLs uniform?
